An Interview with Luna Jaffe about Wild Money
I recently sat down with Luna Jaffe to discuss her book, Wild Money. She currently has a Kickstarter campaign going to get these beautiful books published; more on that in a second.
What's so powerful about Luna's book is that it doesn't focus on what you know about money - it focuses on how you feel about money and your relationship with it. I've worked with so many entrepreneurs and small business owner-executives who struggle in business because they have money Stuff. Even those people who have been trained to handle money - CPAs, MBAs, CFOs, and so on - flail when it comes to managing the finances in their own businesses because what they were taught didn't address what it's like to be managing your own money rather than someone else's. Actually, the shame and embarrassment is worst with them because they feel like they should know better.
They do know better. Their feelings about and relationship with their own money are different that they are about other peoples' money.
Wild Money is particularly good for women, too. It's written by a creative woman for creative woman; she gets the journey. If Dave Ramsey or Suze Orman drive you bonkers, you'll want to check out what Luna has for you.
If you'd like to learn more about Wild Money, check out the Wild Money kickstarter campaign. The campaign ends this Saturday (March 2nd), though.
