Come join the Work Party!!
In my last post, I mentioned that Jen Hofmann and I had just went live with our Work Party. I wanted to take a few minutes to explain what it's about - in case you want to grab one of the few remaining seats before they're sold out.
If you run your business out of your home, this program is for you. The two major problems that we're addressing are the tendency to buy
We'll each spend a little less than half of the time giving some guidance on how to go about letting go of the dead stuff and how to make room for new growth in your business. After we do our thing, you'll have the rest of the time to either work on the areas we're focusing on quietly or ask us for specific help.
For instance, you may show up with an Inbox that's seemingly unmanageable. I'll be giving helpful general advice about how to make peace with it, but you there may be something that has you all twisted up. Rather than trying to handle it alone, you can just ask us about it - and between the two of us, you will get a solution that addresses your problem.
Or you may have a desk or work area that's giving you fits and clawing at your attention. Regardless of what you've tried, it always ended up unmanageably cluttered. Jen's wicked good at getting to the crux of the problem and helping people move beyond it in a surprisingly peaceful way.
Update 7/30: As of today, there is one spot open for the Work Party. There is one day left to join. Is that spot yours?

If you run your business out of your home, this program is for you. We will help you let go of the tangible and intangible clutter that's keeping you from being as productive and creative as you could be.
The Work Party is split into two blocks - one led by Jen and the other led by me. We'll both spend a little less than half of our block giving some guidance on how to go about letting go of the dead stuff and how to make room for new growth in your business. After we do our thing, you'll have the rest of the block to either work on the areas we've focused on by yourself or to ask us for specific help. Or both.
For instance, you may show up without a clear idea of how you're going to grow your business or what you should focus on for the next little bit. I'll be guiding you through the process of developing realistic, sustainable goals and the steps to take to instantiate those goals, but there may be something that still has you all twisted up or stuck. Rather than trying to handle it alone, you can just ask us about it - and between the two of us, you will get a solution that addresses your problem.
Or you may have a desk or work area that's giving you fits and clawing at your attention. Regardless of what you've tried, it has always ended up unmanageably cluttered. Jen is insanely good at getting to the crux of the problem and helping people move beyond it in a surprisingly peaceful way.
The best value of this program will come as a result of us discussing ways to grow your business while taking care of yourself. This is your time and space to do some Big Picture thinking and planning - with us there to help guide you in the process. Should you need help with email and organization - well, we've got you covered there, too.
Most people will probably get more value from the Work Party by picking our brains, but there are a few of you who will probably just appreciate having the dedicated time to take care of your business. Either way, you get the attention of two effective coaches for two and a half hours for $57. That's not a typo.
This is a Work Party - we aren't calling it that because we couldn't think of anything else to call it. There's no reason that work can't be fun, and sometimes hanging out with people who get you while you're doing your thing can make all the difference in how you think about your work. Yes, we're here to help you grow yourself and your business, but we're also going to have fun while doing it.
So, come as you are, bring some fun music and snacks, and take care of business. It's all the better if you forget that you're "working."
